Novena to Our Lady Untier of Knots, 2026

The 2026 novena to Our Lady Untier of Knots, A Way to Peace in Our Hearts is being held:

Dates:   20th – 28th of September 2026

Time:    7pm - except on Tuesday 22nd and Sunday 27th when it starts at 6.30pm

Venue:   St. Mary’s Church, Headford, H91C9W8    

     (see North-Galway church for maps link etc)

Each evening includes the the Rosary, novena prayers, and ends with Mass.

Our Lady Untier of Knots is another name for the a devotion to Mary and painting by Johann Georg Melchior Schmidtner "Our Lady, Undoer of Knots".

Thurs 24th - Mother Karol O'Connell, OSB, Abbess at Kylemore Abbey

Fri 25th - Friar Seán Kelly Capuchin-Franciscan based at Knock

Sat 26th  - Archbishop Francis Duffy (Archbishop of Tuam and Bishop of Killala)

Sun 27th - Niamh Morris (Diocesian Pastoral Resource person, Tuam diocese)

Mon 28th - Dana Rosemary Scallon, singer and former MEP
